STEALTH FIGHTING ARTS – SCHOOL OF THE TIGER

Stealth Fighting Arts (School of the Tiger) came about after much thought by David & Jacqui Suker. After having trained for many years in various Martial Arts it became obvious to them that a different approach would be beneficial for themselves & their students resulting in a more freestyle approach to encompass the different Martial Arts they were trained in. As a result of this forward thinking it was obvious to them that a new approach was also needed in relation to teaching Specific age groups as this was also important to improve the self esteem & learning capacities of each individual student regardless of age or natural talent.

A Syllabus evolved which included specific techniques from different disciplines that were included into each grade, along with the combination of these techniques it was ensured the traditional aspects of each discipline were not cast aside as these are the foundations for ensuring continued growth & stability. Each student is required to be competent in all techniques for their relevant grades & will progress according to their commitment & ability.

From our humble beginning in 1996 training out of local halls we have grown into a full-time Martial Arts & Fitness Centre with a fully equipped Gym, Martial Arts & Boxing training area complete with Boxing Ring. Stealth Fighting Arts has successfully combined Traditional & Modern Martial Arts with tried & proved training methods. All members are encourage to test themselves by participating in tournaments at a local, national & international level however this is not compulsory. For those not Martial Arts inclined we have a fully equipped Gym/ Fitness Centre with qualified personal trainers & group classes including Spin.

Weight Loss

Weight Loss or control of body weight is an important part of overall health & fitness for children, juveniles & adults. Understanding how your Body functions & the amount of fuel it requires to operate under normal & stressful conditions is an important start to Weight Loss or Control.

At Bargo Fitness we can assist you with exercise programs to help achieve your goals. Remember how much & what type of food goes into your mouth plays a huge part in your weight loss goals.

Strength

Strength has several definitions with all of them supporting a similar theme. Basically, Strength is the quality or state of a person or object being physically strong. The benefits for humans both male or female to be Physically Strong throughout their life is achieved with regular exercise designed to increase & maintain MUSCLE STRENGTH & ENDURANCE.    

 At Bargo Fitness we can assist you by assessing your current levels of Strength & Fitness, from there we can discuss targets & set an achievable goal to ensure you benefit from your training, our program will help ensure you benefit in the following ways;

  • A reduced risk of injury.
  • Improve your mobility & ability to execute normal activities, lifting boxes, washing baskets or heavier objects in the house or yard.
  • Help you to maintain a healthy body weight.

 Cardio

The Cardiovascular Systems primary role is to deliver Oxygen rich blood, Nutrients & Hormones to the Cells & Organs of the body & well as removing Carbon Dioxide. It assists the body to meet the demands required during Physical Activity &/or Stress. At Bargo Fitness whether you choose one of our Programs or one of our set classes you will benefit from the exercises within them & improve your level of fitness by developing a healthier Cardiovascular System.

Will I get big muscles if I exercise with weights? Sarah

Definitely not, if it is not your goal. While women can increase their muscular size & appearance they do not have the same levels of testosterone as men & therefore have to work extremely hard compared to women like yourself Sarah who just want to gain fitness & muscle tone. Some women can & do develop large muscles because that is their goal & they work very hard to achieve it.

If I join BJJ Classes at your Gym are the instructor’s black belts? Dave

David Suker is the Head instructor for Stealth Martial Arts, he was graded to Black Belt under the Will Machado Association. John Will – Rigan Machado.

Am I locked into a contract & what are your methods of payment? Glenn

Glen there are no Contracts & you can pay by EFTPOS, DIRECT DEBIT or INTERNET BANKING.

Are your toilet unisex & is there room to change? Kylie

Good question Kylie, we have separate Male & Female amenities with 2 separate cubicles in each. There is also ample room to change & a shower.

Can I get help if I don’t know how to operate equipment?

Yes, the gym has staff present who can assist you with any query or physical assistance you may require.
